Today, for the second out of our three intensive period classes, we took a tour of the Catedral de Sevilla, which is only a five minute walk from our school! It is the third biggest in the world, after Saint Peter’s in Vatican City and Saint Paul’s in London, and at the end of the trip we climbed to the top of the bell tower, which has ramps instead of steps because they used to go up on horses!

This weekend, I’m looking forward to going to Cadiz for a Carnaval celebration. We’re leaving Sevilla at 6pm and we return at 2:30am!

Looking down at the patio.
The rose windows make rainbows on the opposite walls!
I love the architecture!
Another rose window, the biggest one.
Inside the main nave of the cathedral.
Reliquaries are awesome but creepy.
